The Timber Creek choir program took nine talented singers to the annual Texas Music Educators Association convention in San Antonio.

Timber Creek had the second highest number of All-State musicians in the state for the 2015 convention which was held Feb. 11-14, 2015.

These musicians made it past all four rounds of the All-State choir audition process and made one of three choirs that combined to rehearse and perform with their fellow All-State musicians. The students’ names, their placements, and their choirs are as follows:

  • Savannah Porter, Sop. 1; First Chair, Mixed Choir
  • Morgan Cure, Sop. 2; Fourth Chair, Mixed Choir
  • Hannah Davis, Sop. 2; Tenth Chair, Women’s Choir
  • Amber Davis, Alto 1; First Chair, Mixed Choir
  • Cami Ellsworth, Alto 1; Ninth Chair, Women’s Choir
  • Faith Dennis, Alto 2; Tenth Chair, Women’s Choir
  • Nam Nguyen, Tenor 2; Second Chair, Mixed Choir
  • Adam Thomas, Tenor 2; Third Chair, Mixed Choir
  • Andrew Richmond, Bass 1; Eighth Chair, Men’s Choir

“We are immensely proud of all of our All-Staters and looking forward to seeing them excel in next year’s All-State process.”
